FILBO, which stands for “Feria Internacional del Libro de Bogotá”, will be taking place fromApril 17 th to May 2 nd , having Argentina as its guest of honor, and its main theme being Feel the Ideas. This fair is the perfect opportunity to meet important and recognized authors from around the world and fall in love with literature even more.
The purpose of the theme of this year, Feel the Ideas, is to focus on feelings that human beings get to experience every day in different situations and will be the trigger of many interesting activities (more than 1,500!), mainly ted talks, which go from inspirational ones to some that incorporate both talk and cooking. This year, FILBO also decided to create some new spaces for new topics of discussion as well, like science, football, illustration, movies and the digital world. This shows there are activities for all ages and tastes!

Now, Argentina, comes back as the FILBO’s guest of honor after 24 years, giving 40 delegates from the country an amazing space to share parts of their culture and literature through some of their best authors. Also, the photographer of this year is from Argentina as well, and hewill be in charge of capturing the best moments of the fair.
For 16 days, people from all ages will be able to enjoy FILBO, be part of the activities itoffers, and get the opportunity to meet their favorite authors. Even if reading isn’t your favorite
thing in the world, you should give FILBO a chance. Who knows? Maybe between activities and a
place full of books, you’ll start to like it better!
